Tavistock Hotel
- Best for
- Families or friends comparing three- and four-person room formats north of the museum.
- Trade-off
- Further north than the museum-doorstep choices
Tavistock Hotel moves the stay north of Russell Square, towards a garden-square base with a broad range of room configurations. Its published triple, family and quadruple categories make it worth checking before splitting a small party across separate bookings. The compromise is more of an approach to the museum than the Montague Street choices.
Booking tipConfirm the exact quadruple room arrangement and inclusions before comparing the total.
President Hotel
- Best for
- Solo travellers and small parties comparing a straightforward Russell Square base.
- Trade-off
- Less useful for a hotel-led boutique break
The President is a practical comparison on Guilford Street when Russell Square is the preferred base but a grand hotel is not the purpose of the trip. The published single, double and twin categories keep the decision focused on the room actually required. Check the extra-bed terms carefully for a three-person stay rather than reading a twin-room label as sufficient.
Booking tipConfirm the extra-bed age rules before comparing a twin room for three people.
